Fremont Methodist Preschool (FMP) is a nonprofit organization sponsored by the Fremont United Methodist Church (FUMC). The school is open to children from families of all faiths, races and nationalities. The Preschool Board, consisting of the minister of FUMC, FMP Director and representatives of its membership determines the policies of operation.

Fremont Methodist Preschool began in January 1986. It was funded through contributions to FUMC in memory of William Keith Stewart. Will was the third son of Keith and Lynda Stewart. He died of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) in February 1985 at the age of three months.
