UMYF
The Fremont UMYF meet regularly in the FUMC fellowship hall on Sunday evenings at 5pm. Led by Shari Stewart, they have a variety of programs and activities followed by food and fun. They enjoy programs such as studying Rick Warren's, The Purpose Driven Life and Mel Gibson's The Passion of The Christ where they discuss Christian ideas and how they apply to their daily lives. In November the MYF will be attending Pilgrimage, which is an annual retreat to Fayetteville attended by more that 7,000 young Christians. They will also be putting together "shoe boxes" for Operation Christmas Child through the Samaritan's Purse Mission Program. In January, they will pack up their ski gear and head to the mountains for a weekend of snow and fellowship. Come join the Fun and Fellowship of Fremont UMYF.
